I have been selected with 23 other teachers from the state to write a new formative assessment in ELA Reading. I get to travel in a few weeks and then again in May to meet up with the team. We are going to be extensively trained in the Common Core (which translates: bloggers will learn all that I learn!) in order to write the assessment.
The acceptance letter is so formal, it scared the heck out of me. I was afraid to accept, but the pay is awesome and just the fact that I will gain so much new information was the icing on the cake.
So if you have any questions that you want answered about the Common Core, just let me know. I will compile a list and see if I can get them answered.
Have a beautiful week faithful friends!
How exciting. Many congrats!
