The Great Postcard Exchange

Last year, I was a proud participant in The Great Postcard Exchange, headed by Mechele Barrow over at Barrow's Hodgepodge.  We still need a few states to join us, just check the graphic below and if you teach in one of those states, click the postcard pic and leave a comment on the post so your class will be included.

The students have a great time with this, you will have an automatic Social Studies lesson, and the rest of the teachers in your building will think you are more amazing than you already are!

If you see your state, then we need you!

Click this pic and leave a comment on the post
to let Mechele know that you want to participate.

  1. The pictures aren't coming through so I can't see if you still need participation in my state. :-( Also, is this only a first grade exchange? Thanks in advance for your help.

    1. Karen,

It isn't only for first grade, last year we had up through 2nd, I believe. I don't know why you can't see the pics, I am looking at the post and I see them. It is a grid with the states and then a postcard graphic. I don't know what state you are in... You can go to barrowshodgepodge.blogspot.com, which is Mechele's blog. Maybe you will be able to see the pics there??? Or, just let me know your state and I can answer you.

      Sorry...

    2. Thanks Janine. Every once in awhile that happens with my blog, too. I can never figure that out when I can see the pictures but someone else cannot. I appreciate your help. I'm teaching 6th grade this year, so it sounds like I'll need to find another postcard exchange. It's a really good idea, though! Thanks again for your help.
