Look What a Little Duct Tape Can Do For You!

If you are like me, you probably have gone through several email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, etc. and you make a new business card every. single. time.

Well, as I was cleaning out looking for something in my closet, I came across a box of said business cards.  I  glared at them for a while and then, BANG, it hit me something fell on my head and I knew exactly what to do.

I also have rolls of duct tape (polka dotted duct tape) because it is out of print and everyone I know snagged every roll in America for me.  If you happen to find this pattern in your area, I won't beg, but pleasseeeeee send it my way!

Here is what I did:
Old Card
Duct Tape
Tape Front of Cards
Taped Card
I laid out the cards
Doubles Fact Concentration!

The possibilities are endless!  Sight words, math facts, game cards, word work, etc.  I am so happy and now I don't ever have to waste another old business card.

What do you think?  Post your ideas for Duct Tape Cards in the comment section, let's see how many ideas we can come up with!

Feel free to pin this post!

  1. Love this idea! I can think of TONS of ways to use this in my class. How did you get the tape so perfect?!! I'm impressed!

Thanks for sharing a great idea!

    1. Since the card has purple on it, you can't see the little lip that was left at the top. It was very easy to just lay them out in groups of five to ten and then cut at the borders of the cards. Good Luck!!!!!

  2. What a great idea, I will be sure to try this out!
