Rafflecopter and Me
Rafflecopter has saved so many of us from trying to count comments to find our winners. I have only used it twice for my own giveaways, but I am a Rafflecopter entering crazy women when it comes to everyone else who uses it. Even with something as grand as Rafflecopter is, there are bound to be some quirks along the way. After entering and participating in numerous giveaways, here are some things that I will consider the next time I use Rafflecopter on my own blog.
We always want to verify the validity of the answers given in our giveaways, but sometimes typing the same thing over and over and over and over becomes tedious. I don't know if anyone else has done this, but I will confess that I have stopped mid-copter because I don't want to keep typing or checking what number follower I am on blogs or TpT. I don't know what number follower I am because I probably have been following for a long time, so I just put in whatever number I want between 1 and the ending number. There isn't anyway to check, as far as I know. If there is, please leave instructions in your comment.
If I type the name I follow with on the first entry, it would be safe to say that it is the same for the rest of the blogs or stores on the list.
The worst part is when the links to blogs, stores, FB, twitter, etc. don't work. I spend time trying to find the correct link, but I am sure not everybody has time for that.
Other than these few quirks, Rafflecopter is amazingly helpful and an easy way to help us figure out our winners. So, for that, I love you Rafflecopter!
That's all I can come up with today, did I leave anything out?

I agree with you on all the above. Plus now Pinterest isn't giving me the option of seeing my pins right after pinning. I've pretty much given up on any giveaway that requires more than 5 or so entries...I lose interest, it's just not worth my time.
ReplyDeleteI agree, some of these are so time consuming. If all I have to do is follow and click without typing anything in, I am more apt to enter. Thanks for commenting!
