Making Connections with Carson Dellosa's Common Core Connections (Giveaway in Post)

I have been using these books for a few weeks and I have been in Common Core bliss!  This is exactly what my kiddos needed to boost their understanding of the standards and to be successful outside of the classroom.  I chose to use both the math and language arts workbooks for home learning.  Each page is designed to target a specific standard, so there isn't any guessing on my part.  When students are struggling on a standard we are targeting during the week, I can easily find the page that is aligned to the standard, copy it, and away we go!

Parents think I am the bomb diggity bomb, too!  They love that there is rigor involved with the homework their babies are working on.  Sometimes  More times than I would like, the curriculum companies just don't include home learning assignments meaty enough for what our students need as reinforcement.  Carson Dellosa has hit a homerun with the Common Core Connections series.  If you are in need of that extra something something for your Common Core needs, look no further.

And now on to what's in it for you:  Carson Dellosa has offered to give away your choice of either a Math or Language Arts Common Core Connections book for the grade level you need.  All you need to do is fill out the Rafflecopter below and you are on your way to winning.

  1. I'd probably pick the language arts one and use it as independent work (it's hard to tell from the pics what's inside). Next year we are fully implementing Common Core & I am hoping to find ways to replace what I use in our curriculum. Carol

  7. What a cute blog! Love, love, love it!! It would be very hard to choose one of the books, but most likely the Math. Morning work, reinforcement, and math centers all need a boost in my room!
